This is my first non-academic design job and I designed an A3 poster, A5 invitation card and exhibition brochure under the title of the ‘80th Anniversary Visual Arts Exhibition’ for my secondary school bilingually.

I designed the main visual in the shape of ‘8’ with two sets of connecting semi-circles and a line-circle ‘0’ at the back to represents the meaning of ‘legacy’. The highlighted strokes within the two Chinese characters, which also stands for ‘legacy’, meaning the 80 years of legacy that has run through the school’s alumni and students.

This job was a challenge of what I have learnt in the two years of study in Communication Design. It requires me to demonstrate how much of the knowledge acquired from lessons and skills I was able to put into real practice.
